Spent the morning on the Chain. Water temps holding in the mid 60's with weed growth very good and coming in very nice. Clarity has improved on the upper two lakes and about norm everywhere else. Ended up catching a 30" muskie on a bucktail on Channel Lake and boated a "bonus" 22" walleye on the very same bucktail on Lake Marie. The strike from the walleye was more aggressive than the muskie which was at boat side on the 8. Weather needs to stabilize to improve the fishing at this point in time. Forecast for this week will help conditions greatly! Enjoy the holiday weekend and remember those that have given their time and life in the military so we may all enjoy the freedoms we have!
