Both bluegills and crappie have been biting the best on the chain (Mud' Waubesa)last time out we caught over 100 keeping just enough for a fish fry that night. With the recent weather warming the water up in the lower sixty degree range Both species have been biting really well caught suspended over deep water 20-24 fow and in water as shallow as four to six feet. Small jigs, plastics, red worm, and gulp minnow has worked. Walleye fishing is picking up during the day on Waubesa we have been slow trolling inline weights with anti-freeze colored tommy harris #5 spinners over 24-25 fow water. I did spend some time casting the shorelines with a nose hooked night crawler and caught a few bass in under an hour along with seeing many musky in the shallow water. Did not had time to pursuit them fish with teeth.
