The boats are in the water, and the season is underway! April offered better fishing than these earlier day in may, but with water slowly warming up things can change quick. Today the lake was a bit rough, and 42 degrees on the surface. I fished near the Port Washington harbor in search of some scattered browns and lakers. Luckily, did see a bit of salmon action. Not much to go off of, but a few Salmon as well as Coho. There is plenty of bait within the gap, almost too much. Every pass we were snagging bait. Our best luck was just outside all of the bait, in about 35 fow. We have lots of charters approaching, and I will keep posted as fishing conditions continue to change. Check out my site for up to date pictures as they are posted almost weekly! www.chinookexpresscharters.com
