    Default March Madness is over....but not forgotten

    Never in my 24 plus years of chasing these fish on Cave Run have I not seen water temps over fifty when we start in the mornings in march in fact I think the highest am temp has been at 46 this year. But things are looking up. This past weekend showed a warming trend which let to some of our guides finding the little pattern and windows that lead to some great days to some. Lance boated 6 fish trolling Friday and Saturday, my boat got 6 Muskies on Rattlin'Shad in very skinny water. They came in short windows and very accurate casting made my clients successful. Water levels are still dropping which as always never help with the lake starting to clear and northern areas real clear.
