    Default Reports from Cave Run

Sorry I haven't posted earlier but it's been busy down here even with some of the worst spring weather ever. Water temps range from 41 to 44 and most days not warming up any and if it does night temps in the 20's drop it back down. However fishing has not been as bad as you might think for those tough enough to get out there. Water levels came up 5 feet and the mud is cropping toward Zilpo the wind for now has it hung up at Clay Lick. This past weekend Cave guest of Mountain Muskie Lodge 28 Muskies up to 48 inches most all on Rattlin'Shads both trolling and casting, Darrel Seasor put 7 in his boat Saturday and Sunday with the largest. Fish seem to be coming all spring long all over the lake, weather is about to change for the better so look out spring is finally here. I post some pictures later.
