    Default TFF Conditions

Coming up this weekend with the family, just curious on how the flowage is looking. I have a fourwheeler and snowmobile, and I know that all the lakes down "home" have no snow cover atop the ice, just curious if the flowage has enough snow cover so I can take my snowmobile up. And does anybody know the ice thickness and how the walleye bite has been? Thanks and Good Luck!

I don't have a snowmobile, but I think the snowmobile trails on the TFF are fine. There's maybe 2 feet of ice, covered a couple inches of slush, and maybe 6 inches of snow on top. Saw a couple of trucks driving around. I caught 1 13.5" eye and that's it, but I didn't get around too much....

Snowmobile trails are reported to be in very good-excellent condition in the Mercer area including those crossing the ice on the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage. Caution for potential ice heaves and sluch conditions is always advised.

AtVs are also getting around just fine.

    Enjoy!
