Ice conditions are very good with 18 to 22 inches of ice.
Crappie is good this week with some nice slabs being caught up to 14.5 inches. Most fish are suspended and the best bite is between 3 and 7 pm. Best baits are Rosies, small shiners or wigglers, Tip Down action is the best.
Perch, some reports this week but it seem to have slowed down. Most catches were weed related and anglers had the best luck on wigglers.
Bluegills, some nice catches this week off the big flowages with gills over 10 inches. Waxies are hot with a purple or blue jig. Fish are close to the bottom.
Pike not much to report, some small fish but thats about it.
Seems to be alot of Largemouth bass caught out of the smallers lakes using large shiners.
Walleye action remains strong again this week, jigging with spoons is the hot setup. Pimples, Slender Spoons, Frostee's or Flying Spoons working great. Good early morning bite and another good bite between 8 to 10 pm.
Good Luck!
