Thread: Tough going at Butler's Island

  1. #1

Default Tough going at Butler's Island

Word is that the Butler's Island crossing off the Kipling access is drifted in pretty badly. Haven't heard anything about any of the other access sites, yet. Things didn't look too bad south of Gladstone when I drove by at lunch time. Had the girlfriend's car, so I didn't even try to drive off.

Anyone have any updates for the access points or out on the ice?

I dont know how it happened but there was a four wheeler though the ice off the terrace this afternoon.I know the ice is plenty thick out there as ive been driving my rhino out for two weeks. The wheeler was out near the break and close to the shack futhest to the south. It was up to the handlebars and tkl had a rollback truck parked on shore. Any idea how that happened?

Forgot to mention the snow. It wasnt too bad at all. Some of the drifts were a little deep but nothing too deep for a 4x4 truck.
