This one's from 2011, taken near the south end of the Big Jams.

Nice sunset on the south end, between Beaver Flats and the entrance to Rat Lake. My son's first figure eight muskie.Click image for larger version.

An eagle on a stump between Donner's Bay and Idle Shores. Caution...during normal water levels this stump is mostly under water.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Okay...I have no idea why the last one turned out like it did. But in the spirit of this thread I will show one of my favorite locations.Click image for larger version.

    Thanks for sharing Guys.

George: beautiful shots and thanks for sharing your honey hole. That’s the one north of the big rock and a little south of the stump with the frog on it right

Rock: great job on raising that son, the memories will last his lifetime.

Happy New Year to all and keep those pics coming.

    BlackDuck,

You have the correct spot, but it's only good when the frog is facing west.

I personally find camping on the Blair peninsula just before Memorial Weekend to be perfect. Plus I get to see my little buddy on his favorite rock. Tip my glass and cast on!

Beautiful pics Blue. Kinda shows the difference between someone who actually uses a camera and the rest of us who just point it at something and push the button.

Blue, that last one is really nice. I like the shallow depth of field and the low perspective. George, I really like your shot of the moonrise and friends fishing at sunset. Sadly, I only got on the TFF ice fishing in February. I have shared this series on here prior, but here are my two favorite from a pair of eagles stealing catches.

Thanks Trav. Great shots of the eagle. Talk about being in the right place at the right time...and with your camera! Hopefully in the future you will have more time to be in this special place we all love.

That first one is really a great shot. It almost makes me rethink my opposition to ice fishing.
