    Post Tomahawk Fishing Report 12/21/2012

Ice conditions, 5 to 6 inches with snow on top. Channel areas not safe. Use extreme caution.

Perch reports are good this week, small shiners on tip ups. Bouncing Hali spoons off the bottom working well also. Try in 5 to 7 feet of water. Lake Alice is the hot lake.

Bluegills, Kodiak Tungston jigs tipped with spikes (red) best bait. Fish the deeper weeds for the bigger gills.

Crappie, mixed reports this week, wigglers with a #14 Red treble hook and a tip down. Spirit Flow. and Alice doing good.

Walleye's, Small suckers is the hot bait, Walleye's are shallow at sunset. Mohawksin and Nokomis doing very well.

Pike, big fish this week with tops being a 34 inch fish. Big Bait, suckers or shiners. The bay area's are holding lots of smaller fish the bigger pike are alittle deeper.

    Good Luck

    Hey Dave,

Any ice fishing updates? Headed that way this weekend and am wondering what's happening up there on the lakes. Thanks!
