last bit of fishing and deer hunting

first week of the deer hunts went well with 9 hunters shooting 8 bucks and the 3 cdn hunters also adding 4 additional does besides thier first bucks.steve passed many good bucks,saw tons of deer daily during his hunt and was not disappointed going home with an unfilled tag.
biggest buck shot was 164.
sol came in to fish last week for 4 days and we hit horrendus weather,snow,35 degree rain,35-50mph winds,some am's 17-20 degrees daytime 28-34 but we still managed to boat 7 fish with 2 fat 48"s the biggest . tony and cous has been fishing this week and though a bit slow has boated a big 52.5 that was weighed at 44# along with some low-mid 40"ers.
woke up this am to the bay beginning to freeze. main lake will stay open yet for some time but it won't be long.
time to start planning for next season!!!
