Eventually all good things come to an end. Team Treblemaker and Capt. Mark wanted to give a shout out to everyone who has been following the reports and keeping in touch with us through out the 2012 Fishing Season. We want to thank everyone we have met through out the season and look forward to talking more fishing this winter at the upcoming show season. We had a spectacular season and am already looking forward to next year. To start things off the walleye fishing this year was absolutely the best LSC has seen in over 20 years. Its started out a little slow, but the bite hung on all the way to Labor Day with limit catches after limit catches. Hopefully next season fairs the same. The Bass bite was good this season although the weather on a couple trips could have helped it a little more. Lots of nice Bass in the 2-6lb range were caught. Perch fishing this Spring due to no ice was AWESOME and this Fall was not to shabby either. We managed some very nice catches w/o having to make long runs to Canada. Most perch were caught local around the GPYC and 400 Club. Our last trip managed 125 nice keepers with 45 over 10" in only 3hrs of fishing... Muskie this season was one of Treblemakers Best years ever for numbers.. We caught more fish in numbers however we were a little lower on the 50" plus fish. We managed over 375 muskie this season and around 15-17 over the 50" mark with 53" as our biggest. Not a bad year by any means but after a remarkable big fish year in 2011 we knew it was going to be a tough one to follow.
As the season comes to end we will continue posting reports and pics as the hard water season starts. Hopefully this season we will have a little more ice than last year. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming shows / Seminars and hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Holiday / Off season. We are looking forward to putting some time in the woods very soon. As always Good Luck and Good Fishing.
