I had Bill from Bloomingdale Il, and his friend Mark out for a morning on "The Rock". A bit cool at the start but after we stopped running it was great. Nice warm sunshine and no wind made for an enjoyable trip. We started off pulling flies on the west side and had some "shorties" and white bass. Moved about a mile to a spot along the old river channel and jigged the submerged wood with grear results. finished with 5 "keepers" between 16 and 19 7/8 inches, 22 "shorties", 2 crappies, and 4 white bass.
Some nice weather coming next week if anyone would like to get in on some fall action!
Today's photos are in the album.
