THE FOX RIVER VALLEY CHAPTER PROUDLY PRESENTS FRANK JAKUBICEK- IDNR DISTRICT FISHERIES BIOLOGIST

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10TH, 7pm at THE SCHAUMBURG GOLF CLUB located at 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg, IL

Frank Jakubicek is a fisheries biologist who works for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Frank has been with the IDNR for over 16 years. His district includes the Fox Chain O'Lakes and Lake County. Due to the lack of manpower at the IDNR, his territory has grown to cover Cook, McHenry, Kane & DuPage counties! He spent 5 years working on Lake Michigan in the early part of his career and was transferred to Lake County & the Chain O'Lakes in the fall of 1998. He has been working with the Chain's walleye fishery ever since. Frank's presentation will cover the status of the fishery on the Fox Chain O'Lakes and the basic procedures the IDNR uses to collect, spawn and raise walleye from Chain O'Lakes brood stock. Frank has an intimate working knowledge of our local lakes, their ecosystems and what makes them tick. This is a don’t miss meeting!!

All Guests are welcome. We have an optional, always awesome all you can eat buffet that starts at 6pm until meeting start. We conclude each meeting with a huge raffle.
