Hey Guys,

Water temps are slowly dropping, getting readings of 54 to around 57 on most area lakes.

Crappie bite is going strong. Been hearing good reports from the Willow Flowage, Lake Alice, and Mohawksin. Guys are fishing wood structure and fallen trees with a slip bobber and a crappie minnow. If you prefer artificial throw beetle spins or crappie kings.

Walleye are picking up, catching some leagals around the trestles and bridges. The dams are producing fish as well. A jig and a fathead, redtail, or walleye sucker will be your best bet. Throw gold and black or silver and black rapalas for artificial baits.

Musky are also picking up with the dropping temps. The sucker bite is going well with a 45", a 43", and several smaller fish this last week on Mohawksin. You can also toss some suicks or phantom lures to raise some descent fish too!

Well good luck and see you on the water,
Shane M.
