Fox Chain Musky & Walleye Report September 29
Water Temps: 60-61 Degrees
Hours Fished: 5:15AM-9:30AM
10:00AM-2:00PM
Had to seperate outings on the Fox Chain. The first outing was an early morning musky hunter which was again very slow. There was lots of surface activity right at moonset and sunrise but nothing was chasing our baits.
The second outing was for walleyes and whatever else we could catch. Caught 2 walleyes, 10 perch, 4 white bass and 1 very small musky. All the fish were caught on 1/16 oz jigs and minnows. Also seen 2 more muskies caught by walleye fisherman. Figures the muskies would be bitting on walleye baits.
