Default September 24th and 25th report

The fish on the Chip are getting a little tough to catch now. We need some cold weather to get them going again. Right now they are extremely scattered. We did get a 40 incher on the 24th and saw two others. Yesterday we saw two lazy fish. One was a pretty good one. It looked to be in the low to mid forty inch range. Hopefully I can figure out another pattern quickly. That's what makes this time of year fun but frustrating.

Water temps were between 57 and 61 degrees yesterday.

    Good luck,

By cold weather do you mean upper 60's to low 70's during the day? Because that's the long range forecast right now. It is supposed to be in the upper 30's to mid 40's at night. Is that enough to cool things down a little more? Right now it looks like 73 degrees on Friday. I hope you have a good game plan down by then or at least something that I can work with next week. Just my luck that I come up in early October and end up with 70 degree weather. Figures. See you Friday at 8am!

    Thanks,
    Matt
