I have a pretty respectable collection of musky lures, however, they're all from my time in WI and MN. A lot of perch, firetiger, and cisco type baits and colors. Just curious how much different this is going to be down here. I know it's a heavy shad system and according to my research also a decent population of spotted suckers. I guess my question is, what would be a few "gotta-have-it" baits for kinkaid in the fall. It wouldn't feel right fishing a new lake without dropping a few bucks on some new lures Any tackle shop recommendations or am I forced to order. If it makes any difference, I prefer to cast but maybe a couple trolling recommendations also for when my arms give out or I'm just feeling lazy. This time of year where I'm from I always seem to throw a lot of bulldawg pounders and a variety of big jerks. Not sure if this is necessary on a shad lake. I promise I'll put up a report soon and quit bothering with questions.
