Friday night I fished with dad. We had some action. With the new moon setting we headed to my favorite big fish spot. Two days earlier Jenn and missed an upper 40" + on this spot. So as we are pulling up I received a text that a buddy got 3 that morning on Markowicz toppers, on a different lake. So I got the hot bait going new moon is setting and the stars a line. Bam there it!!!! Awsome strike!! Only one problem. It's a low 30" lol. In all the years I've fished this spot I've never seen a fish under 40". Never caught one under 43". I new we were in for a tuff weekend. Lol. However dad saved the night with a nice 41" on a hog wobbler. I had it up on a creeper two casts earlier. It was the coolest sounding hit ever! You could hear the jaws snap on the lure.

The rest of the weekend sucked!!! That's as nice as I can put it.

Water temps in the mornings were 66.
In the evenings 69 to 70
