    Default Roll Call for Twitter-ites

Now, I am curious as to how many guys on this board have twitter accounts. Of those accounts, how many are over 35?

    Any replies will be appreciated.

I am not yet but I've been thinking about it. I'm about fed up with facebook and all the political BS that stupid people spew, but maybe that's just because it's an election year.

I'll sign up and check it out... what the hell could it hurt?

I have had a Twitter account for about a year now, have 958 followers and have booked many trips from tweets.Only problem is dealing with all the email associated with spam and new followers, about 10 per day.But you can reach millions of people instantly, instant tweet of the big fish you just caught.I'm almost 62 years old and Twitter is a good deal!

    Red,

Is there any way that you can include a small window or scroll bar on the website that would include "tweets" from you guys? I've seen some sites that have this kind of thing so that even people who might not have a twitter account can see some of the posts. Just curious because the more I think about it, the more interesting I think this could be. I personally don't really know anything about it at this point.

I'm on Twitter but I never post. Mostly use it for a news source. Most news outlets are going to Twitter before the web these days, it's just quicker. I also find it a good way to gets sports updates during games.

    Hey Larry,

I cut down on most of my extra email crap associated with Tweets by "Unfollowing" the people who are always jabbering. Everytime they tweet or retweet, you get a notice email from what I can tell. I unfollowed 12 people just the other day and it worked great.

I only get an email if somebody responds to a tweet that I reference them in. Maybe that's just a setting.

    Red,

Here is a page from the Post Gazette that has a twitter feed toward the bottom right hand side. Not sure if that helps.
