Just my 2-cents…

Because of the warm weather our creek inlets have been very popular lately. Muskies have been hanging around for various reasons, bait fish, and cooler water. Due to these reasons musky fisherman have been pounding these locations. It's been confirmed, eleven muskies have been found dead.
An angler may catch one or multiple fish. They release the fish, it swims off fine. Only to find these fish floating later. It's called delayed mortality. Even though your fishing a creek inlet with cooler water, it doesn't matter, it's warm.
If you get out fishing, measure the fish in the water. The less handling you do the more success these fish may have.

It's been reported of several fish found dead that have been shot by bow. Carp shooters are shooting anything that moves. This report stated dead northerns, walleye, muskies and pan fish found all with arrow holes in them.

If you come across any dead fish with arrows in them please call the DNR Tipline. The ability to text violations will be in addition to the 24 hours a day/seven days per week confidential telephone tip line DNR operates to report suspected or observed illegal activity, according to Steve Sisbach, DNR's environmental enforcement chief. The number is easy to remember, 1-800-TIP-WDNR (1-800-847-9367 or cell#367.

A lot of people and companies have invested time and money in stocking this flowage. It is sad to see our musky population decrease due to poor decisions.
