    Default Weather question

Hey Maxx...any thoughts on the weather pattern we're expecting for the next couple of weeks ? Looks like a summer "cold front". We're coming up there Aug 15-19...I bought the WalleyeMaxx System book and look forward to trying some new techniques. I hope the cooler weather will get all species going. thx.

    Hi Greg,

Thanks for buying my book. The weather pattern I saw calls for a slight cool down, but not drastic. The water temps have dropped to 75 degrees which is still warm so the walleyes should hold in thier woody hump pattern. The forage will determine the walleyes location, so if their is a bloom of some sort of forage in the weeds, expect a lot of all fish not just walleyes to invade the weeds. Remember, like I said in my book, the longer the weasther holds the same, the more stable it is. If we get a lot of unstable weather, fish-smaller and slower. Jig like I described in my book and you will do fine. Hope this helps. Good luck fishing.
