Weather co-operated most of the week once the heat broke slightly on Monday. Though the wind change and "cool down" seemed to slow the walleye bite slightly. Overall, another great walleye week here in Morson for our guests. Using mostly spinners with bottom bounces, the usual Group consisiting of Hansens, Boschs, Macziewskis, Luschens, McNeils et all caught all kinds of wallyes up to 28" as well as 29", 29", 29.5" and 29.75" fish. All big fish were caught and released! Deeper reefs were the best structural element again this week.

Several nice northerns caught while muskie fishing and walleye fishing this week...up to 40".

Muskies were showing themselves, but not eating like they could. Several big fish caught though, including 47", 48.5", 49.5" and 50.25". Tail spinning topwater, bucktails and crank baits were the best tools to get fish from the shorelines and rocks they seemed to be holding to.

See photos in our Facebook Albums under the related month. They are some great ones!!

More stable, hot weather in the forecast.

Should be another GREAT week.
