Warm water moved in but the action is still strong. Our last trip rewarded us with 11 fish but the best part was that 5 were Rainbows (Steelhead) up to 12 pounds. That isn't to say we're not seeing some of those big Kings almost every trip but we don't miss them when the Rainbows leap into the air on their way to the net.

Best action is in the 80 to 100 foot depth using both spoons and dodger/fly combos. That's only a few miles out. Both the lead and copper lines way, way, way back have been active. Of course, we aren't putting the dipsy divers or downriggers away since at least half the fish are being taken that way.

See you on the water.
