Well the musky activity was very good early this morning as I figured it would be, but I wish we would have hit the lake a half hour earlier! I was fishing with Steve Badger and Jesse Tertin, and Steve lost a 40" class fish right away in the morning that nipped his bucktail half way to the boat. Between us, we saw seven fish up to 45" and we raised them on bucktails, topwater and rubber. The most active fish were early on (had we been able to hit the lake at first light, we'd have probably caught at least one), and the follows we had later in the day were low and slow. Water temps in the mid 70's and fish were in relatively shallow water. Unfortunately though we could not hook up today, but we had quite a bit of action.
