Weather was up and down this week and fishing seemed to go up and down with it. Better fishing towards the early and middle part of the week for walleyes. Almost any hump produced some fish. Reports one day saw a couple of our guests' boats landed really nice walleyes in 32-38 feet of water. Other reports all over the map in terms of depth, but common theme was lots of litle ones, several bigger fish, but not quite as many in the 15"-18" range as has so far been the case this season.

Muskies started off slow and didn't really jump by weeks end. Best results for a couple of baits fishing this week were 4 and 5 fish total. A couple nice ones at 48" and 49" early in the week, followed by a couple 44"ers late in the week. Fish seen mostly on shoreline rock (crank baits, bucktails) and muddy bays with some weeds (spinner baits.)

A few bigger northerns are starting to be caught as well so fish activity is increasing.

Some stable weather in the forecast looks promising and should make for another great week of fishing with a full camp and lots of people on the lake.

Get out there and "get your fish on!!!"
