Water temps in the low 70's

Walleye's, drift fishing is producing nice catches of fish, use the wind to your advantage. Drift the channel during the daytime with leeches or chubs, use a rig with a copper or gold blade and set your slip sinker about 36 inches from the hook. Evening hours are finding the walleye's relating to the weed edges, use countdown Rapala's along the edge.

Smallies, Intimidator tubes are hot!! Work these tubes in 4 to 7 feet of water with good rock and timber structure. These Bass are very active and fight all the way to the boat.

Crappies are suspending during daytime hours but are moving along the weeds in the evening hours. Fish the deeper weed edges about an hour before sunset. Setup a slip bobber and a small minnow right along the weeds or cast some small spinners or plastics and light jigs.

Bluegills are moving deeper now, small leeches are the favorite bait. Look in the 4 to 8 foot depth.

Muskie action slowed this week, some reports of big fish showing interest but that was about it. Most action on glide baits.

Good Luck
