Warming temps once again have the panfish in the shallows. Mayflies are starting to hatch.

Gills are in the 1 to 3 feet of water. Good action on waxies and ice jigs below a small bobber do not use any split shot go as light as possible. Fly fisherman have been having a blast with these gills, spiders poppers or dry flies working great!!

Crappie action on Lake Mohawksin is the best its been in years. Fallen trees near deep water are the hot spots, slip bobbers with a small fathead for bait. You must get the bait right next to the structure because the crappies are tight to the cover. Don't forget about the trestles!

Walleye are deep during the day but anglers putting in the time are catching them on crawlers or leeches. But the best time is at sunset, fast running crankbaits along the weed edges are catching some very nice Walleye with a nice 26.5 incher on Wednesday.

Musky, glide and twitch baits are hot, fish just off the deep weed edges. Mohawksin was the lake this week Very good action!

Bass, try some tubes, if they don't work for you try some other tubes because they are one hot bait for Bass right now.
Largemouth are still in the shallow weeds but the smallies are back in the 5 to 7 foot depth and relating to wood or rock.

Good Luck
Dave
