I thought it was a king
Fought this fish for at least 10-15 minutes on a board line with a 4 color flasher fly. Already had two nice kings in the box. (Solo trip) took four attempts with the net before I finally got it in the net, Wow what a fight, Love fighting those kings. Got it out of the net and put it in the live well with the other kings. Pulled my other two lines and went home with a smile on my face. Since the cleaning station is not open I had to take the fish home to clean them. Got home and guess what the big un was not a king but a 16.4# 33" brown ( if you don't look close a seeforellen brown looks just like a king) Check the photo out, see what I am saying?
Normally I would have released this bruser but now that I have it any comments on the smoking it? Chunks are pretty big.
