This has been a fanominal year for trophy walleyes, can't ever remember so many really good fish. We have been fishing around Rattlesnake Island with reefrunners back 35 to 80 feet. The jig bite was very slow today due to NNE winds all night so we decided to make the 13 mile run get out of the 18 mph winds and crush 132 lbs. of walleye in 22 fish. Now we like jigging also but with the request for trophy fish has been staggering this year and I am proud that my customers have taken some nice fished to the Taxidermy service.
