Got on the water this morning out of McKinley about 10 am (not another boat in the parking lot, wonder why) wind out of the north/east 15 to 20 mph north east winds for the last few days so I went directly to the south end of the harbor. 47 degrees plus in the McKinley area and 48 plus on the south end of the harbor. A ton of fish marks from top to bottom. I started with 2 depsies out 30 and 45 #3 and one naked line rigger down 16. All with standard silver back spoons. The rigger with a bloody nose went off three times in the first 20 minutes all with 3-4# browns I took the hint and set my other two riggers up the same way pulling the depsies. I boated and lost about another 10 fish getting hits on all three riggers. I only kept 4 in the box so I could continue this fun fishing. Went home with 4 at noon. A great morning for only 2 hrs of fishing. The waves were crashing over the wall and I had 2 footers in the harbor but it was great.
