    Default 2012 Water Levels

Well, I don't know how it's been on Oak Island, but northern Illinois has had a very mild winter so far, to say the least. Has LOTW had normal snow? What are the guesses of this summer's water levels? Obviously, the spring rains will play a part in everything, but I wonder about the run-off of snow. Without getting TOO low, I like the low water years. The muskies seem to be a little more predictable. It almost seems to funnel them into tighter areas/holes. As a club, our better years have been during the lower water levels. Any thoughts?

Then you should be happy. Very little snow around. And the lake level froze very low as well.
will be like shooting fish in a barrel. So who needs a Tranx this year?????

Low water or not...I need to try a Tranx. Nothing like taking a fish water skiing! The musky will sound like that commercial with the little pig on the zip line coming in.....

    Musky, "weeeeeeeeeeeee, we, we, weeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

That commercial creeps me out, by the way.
