The sun is finally shining a little out there, the breeze is a little sharp but doesn't blow you over. Fishing has been slower since the cold front the last week. But the perch are still biting on a minnow and a jig. No one has reported getting any thing after dark. Couple of guys stayed in our sleeper the last few nights and said it was a dead sea out there after about 5pm. They brought in a few small walleye but not big enough to keep and during the day. Ice is about 19" deep and they were fishing in abaout 8' of water.
