    Default Spectron Green

I have been using Spectron Green and haven't had to buy any for a long time. Apparently they don't make it anymore. Does anyone know any places that have any left? If not, are there any good alternatives out there? I have never liked the coated lines that are stiffer and always preferred the limpness of the Spectron. I know they still make the blackspot color, but not sure how well that color works. Do musky really care about the line color or am I overthinking this? Thanks all in advance.

This is what you need: http://www.cortlandline.com/products/default.asp?id=517
I have been using this line for years and LOVE IT. I use both the green and the bronze. You can order it from Thorne Bros very easily. I have used all lines on the market and I perfer this over all the rest. It is NOT waxy, it is NOT stiff. You will really like this line. It also carries very little water back towards the reel and holds it's color for a long time.

Okay. I will definitely be going the Masterbraid way. Any thoughts on 80lb versus 100lb? Does the 100lb become too thick to effectively throw smaller baits? Any benefit of one over the other in terms of casting?
