Probably one of the most common questions I'm asked refers to Monona Terrace. I've posted a short video on youtube that includes a view of some of the rock structure right off shore before it drops off to the deeper water. What you see here is the same thing you'll see all along the Terrace shoreline. Only difference is the terrace wall extends past the shoreline quite a ways and the bottom turns more soft and silty. Typically the muskies will follow the rock shoreline over the soft bottom, whereas the walleyes seem more prone to hang tighter in the rocks. The first part of the video shows an example of one of the small rock bars in deeper water (30') that are unmarked on any map I've ever seen, other then my own of course!
