Damn walleye bite has been spotty lately, you can count on some action right around sunset and then it seemed they'd go comatose... good news is, I see a couple 40 degree days in the forecast, that means panfishing! For me anyway, there's nothing better than being able to work out in the open in comfort searching for panfish. I watch the weather forecasts closely in the winter for those 36-38 degree warm spells. I KNOW what I'll be fishing for those days...

We've had some real nice evenings lately, the walters just seem to be focused on about a 1 hour window at sunset. I've found shiners to produce the most action when set close to bottom around the 12ft mark off breaklines, weed edges, etc.
