    Default Blade Sharpening?

Does anyone know where I can get the 8" blades for my Eskimo power auger sharpened in this area? I think they are chipper style because they have grooves machined into the cutting edge.

    Default blade sharpening

Hi there, I used to have an Eskymo and and I used a honing stone. It worked great as long as you covered the whole radius. You can get em razor sharp this way with a little spit and elbow grease. I tried using a grinding wheel but could not hold the correct cutting angle. Eskymo new what they were doing when they put a radius on those blades making it nearly impossible for someone without a cnc to sharpen them in mass numbers forcing guys to buy new ones!

    Default Blade Sharpening

I have used this Sharpening vendor a couple of times. They did a real good job with sharpening and turn around time. Pays to send in more than one set to save on shipping
