Overall I
cant remember a year like 2011. We had record amounts of water go through the whole system . We had some highly publicized flooding in some small areas, lots of high water and the best fishing I have ever seen. The press tried to scare the daylights out of everyone who read or listened to the misleading information on the fishing in SD. The truth is other than about 20 miles of
Lake Sharpe in the pierre area the river was open to fishing all year long. Boat access was very good. Lodging was great and the walleye, salmon ,smallmouth and white bass went nuts all year long.

The outlook for 2012 is fantastic. Water levels are very good. We have had lots of food in the system and the fish numbers and quality are way above normal. A hotspot for 2012 will be Lake Sharpe . It had very little fishing pressure in 2011 because of the high water. It has always been our bread and butter but this year will be exceptional. Lake Oahe and
francis Case this fall and early winter have been producing above average numbers of larger walleye and this shows that the high water helped us a lot.

2012 will be a banner year again. If we can help you have the fishing trip of a lifetime give us a call anytime. Thanks again for your support over the years.

See you on the river
