Ice Conditions as of 12/21/11

Hey Guys,

The ice is lookin good out there, I've been hearing 8-10 inches on most lakes. People are getting their shacks out there now and a lot of quads and sleds running around! Areas with moving water can still be dangerous, so use caution on the river systems.

The area lakes have been producing some decent fish. Nice bluegills, some crappie, a lot of walleyes and pike. Use walleye shiners/suckers, and the larger shiners for the pike and musky.

Guys are driving on lake alice, 10 inches of ice. I would still use caution driving a car or truck on the ice.
