    Does anybody know the inland lake ice thickness

    We've heard 3 to 4 inches on most inland lakes. Also talked to few people heading down to the Escanaba harbor, yesterday. Sounds like 2 inches or less down there. I think I'll wait another week!

    I saw a couple of guys out fishing between the Kipling landing and Butler's Island today. A little too brave for my tastes--even if it is shallow there.
