Extending handles on my st croix rods????

Need your advice. Would like to add another 4-5 inches to each handle of my rods so I don't have to buy all new custom rods and keep these ones. Who could do this for me? Should I do this or are there any known problems having this done. Would really like to be able to tuck them higher under my arm on some retreives and have a little more ease casting larger baits. Love the rods, just would like longer handles. Any stories of sucess doing this or horror stories? Thanks

This is something that Thorne Brothers does on a regular basis. I'm not sure what the charge is but it shouldn't be much. Call and ask for Lonnie. He can help you out. He gets in early so don't be affraid to call early.
