Today Walleye Allowed us to Catch Some Today
Well we headed out in 4-5 feet waves and headed out to the North Bay of Kelleys Island in 44 feet of water and it was so rough that we had to go to Gull Island Shoals to set our trolling boards in the water. We headed down wind (northeast winds) towards the NW tip of the island and trolled at 1.3 knts and we ended up pulling 6 nice walleyes mostly 60 feet back using reefrunners. Our best color was purple demon and also rainbow trout. It was not a slobberknocker by no means put we ended up with some nice Lake Erie Walleyes.
