Muskies have been a little more active this week. With many follows and a few hits on crank baits, gliders, and jerk baits. Suckers in the 12-15 inch range have been showing some action also. The feeding windows have been very short but intense, as is typical this time of year. I have been finding all of my fish in 15 feet of water or less. Most fish have been positioned at the weed edge or break edge. We have had a few fish come from the inside the weeds themselves, but I think this is the exception. Bait retrieval has been very deliberate with a medium speed retrieve with pauses; every fish has hit on the longer pauses, with most strikes occurring right before the figure eight.
Good luck
