Lake Erie Perch Fishing Great, Walleyes Still Slow

We had another fantastic day Perch fishing, caught many jumbo's. We headed out to the west side of Pelee Island Canada and as soon as we set anchor the perch were comiting suicide. We caught doubles and many triples on spreaders tipped with shiners. We limited out with 210 perch and went after the seeming alusive walleye with no luck. We fished the deep water between Hen Island and the Chicks, marked good fish but no takers. We were casting gold spinners with crawlers.
