    Certainly any first time buck is going to be special, but that really kicks it up a notch!!! Congrats to Dad!!! Was he chasing???

    No mark I don't think he was chasing. Dad livse in northern Illinois and shot it down there. However up here, in Hayward, the deer are getting into a prerut routine. There are fresh scrapes daily. Really excited to get mike up here next weekend and do some team hunting in the big woods. Bucks should be running hard by time he is up with all these cool mornings. This is always my favorite time of year but I also hate it. I want to sucker fish and bow hunt. There just isn't enough time with also having a job that takes away from time on the water and in the woods. Lol
