    Default Leesville Lake

    My brother & I just returned from Leesville Lake on Saturday, the 24th of September. We had a fair week of fishing. Lake conditions were entirely different from last year at this time. This year, weeds were everywhere. The fish were not in the same locations as last year. We were 8 of 12 for the week. We had four (4) each from 31" to 42". All the fish were caught on my own baits. I had one hit on a sledge. Since I changed reels to cast the sledge, I forgot to reset the drag. It must have been a senior moment!! We also tried sissons.
