Sea WEED fishing report, & adventures...

My dad, and I went out to Carney lake...
We got some Pumpkin seed, and Bluegills, and even a few small Perch...
Non of these panfish were big so we didn't keep any. Which pisses me off cuz im hungry for some shore lunch...
Any way I caught a small Hammer handle northern pike. It was 20"s, and it hit an F 18 Perch colored Rapala. The lure was dam near as big as the fish...
Then near dark we had some bass jumping around us but they didnt wana bite anything, which is ok cuz there not good eating IMO...

Went to Peavy pond today...
Got to the landing, got the boat ready. Backed it in got out, and went to pull the boat to the dock to tie it up and, realized I forgot to put the plug in...
So as my boat is sinking I dragged it to shore...
I jumped in the front to hurry to the back to put the plug in...
Well i stepped near the side of the boat, and the boat tipped to the side well all the water in the back made it tip harder farther, and faster...
I fell. It hurt. The electric trolling motor stopped my face...
So the boat was still sinking, I was bleeding I got the plug in then bailed water for 10 minutes then got out, and had to stop my chin mouth, and nose from bleeding...

I thought for sure all that would bring me the luck to land some HUGE Muskie's...
NOPE...
Didn't even get a Muskie to follow anything...
Had some Northerns follow up a spoon a couple times I even caught a couple nothing big...

O well tommorow is another day, and the Sea WEED will be out fishing...

Went out on the Menominee River In Kingsford...
I put in on Cowboy lake...
WARNING: Do NOT put in on Cowboy lake unless you hate your engine...
Shallow, & the word "weedy" is an understatement...

Any way the fishing was good I caught LOTS of Northerns. Id even say the biggest one was a whole 16"s...
I caught one that was about the size of an F-18 floating Rapala...
So I grabbed my Muskie rod, and a F-18 Rapala, and went to work but no big Pike an no sign of a Muskie... Untill.?.
About 20 minutes after it was black I caught a little Tiger Muskie...

The bass where jumping every where which was neat...
Next time I go out there im bringing some Jitter bugs with me...

I seen a Spike buck, and a doe swim a cross the river from Michigan to Wisconsin...
I guess they had some big Kagger to go to in cheese land LOL...

OoO ya before I forget the little hammer handles, im thinking more brass brad hammer handles were bighting on a J 11 Fire tiger Rapala...

I went out on the Menominee river in Iron Mountain...
I put my boat in, and went up river to the dam...
Then I spun the boat around, put my trolling motor on its slowist speed, and did a controled drift back down the river...
I had several Northerns hit my baits but they were eather missing the bait or I need to put a front hook on a spoon but I only landed a couple hammer handles...
I did have a big gator hit my bait I was in 15' of water the bait was 5' down, and all I say was a great big mouth, and a huge set of white gill blades...
It was ether a nice Pike or a mid size Muskie...
Then about 2 miles down the river from that, and with only about 15 minutes of light left I had something big hit a bait, and there was a huge boil in the water as it happend so I know that was a nice fish...

OoO well tommorow is another day, and the Sea WEED will be out fishing...

I went on the Menominee river tonight...
Caught a couple hammer handle Pike...
Had a nice size Muskie next to the boat as well...
An I caught a 24 inch 6 pound Walleye on a red & white Dardevlet...

I got a Hammer handle Northern, and then at dark a 18 1/2 inch Walleye on a jig with a Golden shiner hooked through the lips...
