Just to let you guys know the Pro-MAC Musky Tournament is going on this Saturday on Lake Mohawksin! Musky anglers will be going for a $10,000 prize! Good Luck!

Now the report. Crappies are holding in deeper water. White plastics on a small jig are working well. Or try crappie minnows on a slip bobber set up. Bluegills are also holding in the deeper water, use a heavy tungsten jig with a waxie and a slip bobber (I like to use the thill pro bobbers.) Walleye action is picking up at the dams with some nice 21"-24" being caught. Jigs and fatheads are working well or if you're using live bait rigs go with redtails, shiners, or suckers. Musky action this week has been good, most fish are in the high 30" - low 40" range. Some guys are using suckers, still a little early though. Hot lures this week have been pearson plugs, hell hounds, and medussas. Just to give you a heads up, musky suckers are going to be tough to get this year. Starting to hear the walleye fishermen complaining about muskies coming up and attacking their catch! So maybe the sucker bite isn't too far away!

Hope my report helps, and don't be afraid to add on to it!

Good Luck,
Shane
