    Default Musky Report 09/14

The past few days the bottom fell out of the local lakes surface temperatures around here! This drastic change has negatively affected my patterns as of late and fishing has been really tough this past week. Thursday the surface temperature was 71 degrees, and this morning (Saturday) it is 58 degrees!! I did manage to catch this feisty little 38"er on a Super Topraider Thursday morning, but that was it. We did NOT even see a fish this morning. With all of the wind lately and the current surface temperature of 58 degrees, turnover cannot be far away at all. In my opinion, the water temps dropped way too fast and the fish will need a few days to recover. Good luck on the water!
