The winds finally came down last week and the fleet ventured out. No one knew where the fish were after almost a week of high winds and rough seas. Surprise, surprise. They were right where we left them in 160 feet of water. Not only that but they attacked the lures like they hadn't eaten in a week. Most charter boats arrived back at the dock with close to limit catches of Chinook (King Salmon) in the 15 pound class, Rainbows and a few Lake Trout for good measure.

The best action is on large dodger/fly combinations fished from 40 to 100 feet down. We have been trolling a little faster than normal since these are larger faster fish and the water is still warm.

See you on the lake
